Aussie Outback Supplies, led by the Spencer family, has proudly distributed Ka-Bar USA knives in Australia since 1987. Ka-Bar was launched in Australia by father and son, Keith and Darren Spencer. Today, that legacy continues with the third generation—Darren and his son Brayden—offering over 150 Ka-Bar models across the country.
Ka-Bar USA was originally founded in 1898 in Tidioute, Pennsylvania, as the Tidioute Cutlery Company. It later became Union Cutlery and relocated to Olean, New York. The Ka-Bar name became iconic during World War II with the release of the USMC Fighting/Utility Knife. Today, Ka-Bar continues to manufacture knives in Olean, NY, for military, law enforcement, hunting, bushcraft, and outdoor use worldwide.
