KA-BAR is excited to introduce the much anticipated John Ek Commando Knife Co. product, the Ek Model 5. This updated version of the occupational fighting knife is made from 1095 Cro-Van steel and features a parkerized bowie blade measuring in at 6.875″ in length. The textured glass-filled nylon handles are deeply milled for grip and are attached with traditional X-head fasteners and it has an S-shaped guard to prevent you from sliding forward onto the blade. The US-made Celcon sheath is a friction fit design with multiple tie-down points and a nylon retaining strap and belt loop. Every component of this knife is proudly made in the USA and this is both a great knife and a great value.

The Ek Model 5 Bowie fighter is part of the John Ek Commando lineup from Ka-Bar. It features 1095 Cro-Van high carbon steel with a black parkerized finish. The handle is outfitted with textured glass-filled nylon scale and traditional X-head fasteners. A US-made Celcon® sheath with retaining strap, self-locking function and multiple tie-down points is also included. Made in the USA.
