The Investigator is the pefect low profile EDC (Everyday Carry) fixed blade.  Lightweight and compact, the Investigator is perfect on a belt, in a bag, or stashed in a glovebox. Please note a hard plastic sheath and clip is included.  The sheath is ambidextrous and also fits the KA-BAR TDI 1477CB, 1480, and 1481.

A smaller more discreet version of the TDI Law Enforcement Knife, the TDI Investigator provides a discreet backup when you back is against the wall. Designed to protect law enforcement officers, this knife clips onto a belt for those times when an officer’s firearm isn’t an option. The drop point blade is made from AUS-8A stainless steel with a tactical black coating that reduces visibility. The nylon handles are similarly black in coloration and provide a good grip for use in a pinch. The clip sheath is made from hard moulded plastic and keeps the knife safe and secure when not in use.

Today, KA-BAR is still made in Olean, NY and makes knives for military, law enforcement, camping, hunting, and bushcraft.
